The 2015–2016 Chairman’s year coincided with one of the most significant milestones in the Club’s history: its 125th anniversary. Founded on 16th April 1890, the Club marked the occasion with a celebration on 21st April 2015 and the publication of a specially produced hardback edition of The Langbourn Ward Club History, sponsored by members and published on 16th April 2015.

The year brought members together for thirteen events, from the Gondoliers and a Danish String Quartet to a Regent’s Canal trip, a Tower Bridge walk, a tour of the Painted Hall and a visit to a gin distillery, bookended by the AGM and Banquet in March 2015 and March 2016.
