It is a privilege and an honour to serve as Chairman of the Langbourne Ward Club during 2015 – 2016 — a particularly special year, as we mark our 125th anniversary.

Our Club thrives in the strength of its Members, the richness of its traditions and the vibrancy of the City of London, and this milestone year gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all three.

I am delighted that we will be inviting three Lord Mayors to join us for this 125th anniversary celebration — a fitting tribute to the Club’s long and proud history.

I look forward to working with you all to build on our heritage, enjoy memorable occasions together, and create a year we can all be proud of.
